Calvetti Ferguson is proud to announce that The Dallas Morning News has named Calvetti Ferguson as a 2023 Top Workplace. Our firm was ranked in the top 50 in the small category. This year marks the first time that Calvetti Ferguson has won this award, making the firm one of 41 first-time winners.

For fifteen years, The Dallas Morning News has partnered with Energage, an employee survey company, to celebrate these top workplaces. Energage administers a survey to company employees, who are the best-deciding resource on whether or not a company culture deserves recognition. Each survey contains over 20 statements that employees rank on a 7-point scale, ranging from “strongly disagree” to “strongly agree.” They are also asked how important each statement is to them. In 2023, more than 330 companies in the Dallas-Fort Worth area participated in the survey.

To qualify for the Top Workplaces award, a company needs 50 or more employees, and participation is free. A minimum of 35% of employees must respond to have valid survey results. Energage ranks companies in small, midsize, and large categories based on survey results. To earn Top Workplaces recognition, a company’s aggregated employee feedback score must be among the top 150 organizations that surpass national benchmarks. Survey questions covered topics including connection, alignment, performance, the basics, coaching, and leadership. Employees were asked whether each statement was true and how important it was. The Top Workplaces Dallas-Fort Worth awards acknowledge that exceptional workplaces aren’t the result of chance and they are intentionally cultivated and fostered.
