At the heart of Texas A&M’s identity lies the Corps of Cadets, a living testament to its historical roots. This military-style organization instills discipline, leadership, and character in its members, fostering a sense of responsibility that extends well beyond their time on campus. This commitment to shaping well-rounded individuals is further exemplified by the university’s numerous traditions, which not only celebrate its history but also unify the Aggie community. From the iconic “Aggie Ring” that symbolizes academic achievement to the spirited “12th Man” tradition and the exhilarating “Midnight Yell Practice” before football games, these customs create a sense of belonging that lasts a lifetime.
