Houston, TX (July 18, 2019) – Lori Morales, CPA and Tax Partner, has been selected to serve on the 2019-2020 AICPA Women’s Initiatives Executive Committee (WIEC).
The WIEC members work closely with AICPA staff to produce necessary and appropriate resources, as well as prepare for speaking engagements on the subject around the country. They are dedicated to executing the WIEC’s mission and vision and spreading the message for the need of women’s initiatives, according to the AICPA website.
“Our mission is to promote and support the success of women to advance the profession together. I’m honored to represent my firm on the committee and look forward to what we will accomplish,” said Lori.
Lori serves as a tax partner in Calvetti Ferguson’s Houston office with over 20 years of experience in public accounting. Her primary focus is to advise family-owned and middle-market companies on how to navigate the intricacies of federal and state tax compliance. Additionally, she assists clients with tax planning, succession planning, business expansions, and mergers and acquisitions.
