Amanda Wood has been promoted to marketing coordinator.
Amanda started at Calvetti Ferguson in August of 2022. Throughout the past year, she has exhibited remarkable growth in her role, taking charge of and successfully executing firm events, overseeing our social media platforms, expanding our website content, writing press releases, and enhancing our marketing brand through innovative designs and creativity. Her valuable contributions make her a significant asset to the marketing team, playing a key role in advancing the firm’s overall marketing strategy.
Cristin Barry has been promoted to tax manager.
Cristin joined the firm over 10 years ago, in other departments fulfilling the needs of the firm. Over the past year and a half, she has applied her expertise in supporting our tax department and client’s tax needs. She is always eager to support other team members and works tirelessly to provide exceptional client service, leaving an impact on our tax team daily. Cristin serves both family-owned and private equity-backed companies as well as high net-worth individuals in a wide variety of industries.
Jared Dawson has been promoted to tax senior associate.
Jared joined the firm in May of 2021 as an intern and joined us full-time in January 2022. Jared handles a variety of tax engagements, including clients in the construction and energy industries. Not only has Jared performed high-quality tax work, but he also has been a vital member of the onboarding team. Jared does great work and passes the knowledge and skills he has learned to others.
Jason Cain has been promoted to vice president of business development.
Since 2017, Jason has been instrumental in driving business development at Calvetti Ferguson. Throughout recent years, his influence has significantly contributed to the firm’s increased sales and the expansion of the business development team to a team of five, covering various markets in Texas. He consistently demonstrates leadership by guiding his team impacting the firm’s success.
Jennifer Labrada has been promoted to tax manager.
Jennifer joined the firm in 2021 as a tax associate and was quickly promoted to tax senior associate. The past two years as a tax senior associate she has focused on growing other Calvetti Ferguson team members, while providing excellent client service. Jennifer serves both high-net-worth individuals and families and their businesses in a wide variety of industries. We are excited to see her grow in this new opportunity.
Jordan Bumstead has been promoted to marketing manager.
Jordan has advanced through the ranks during her tenure at Calvetti Ferguson, leading up to her promotion to marketing manager. She actively helps implement the firm’s marketing strategy and campaigns, taking charge of event management, social media strategy, website management, and sponsorships. Jordan truly elevates the marketing team with her adept skillset, hard work, and leadership while exemplifying the firm’s core values.
Kali Donnelly has been promoted to accounting services senior associate.
Kali had several years of experience in both audit and tax before joining us a year ago. She primarily serves our family office and medical practice clients in all of our markets. Her hard work, diligence, and determination are assets she brings to each client she works on. Kali is a respected teammate who takes care of her team and clients.
Laura Pasqua has been promoted to tax senior manager.
Laura joined the tax department at Calvetti Ferguson in 2014 and has been a rising star ever since. She has established herself as a proficient leader in the firm’s state and local tax practice, working with family-owned businesses and individuals. Her pursuit of the development of others, as well as herself, embodies the firm’s GROWTH core values.
Liz Mendez has been promoted to tax senior associate.
Liz joined the firm in January 2021 as a tax paraprofessional and has quickly worked her way up through the ranks. She serves family-owned companies in a wide variety of industries. Liz continually makes a positive influence on our practice while providing exceptional client service, developing others around her, and living out the GROWTH values of Calvetti Ferguson.
Mandy Noll has been promoted to learning and development senior manager.
Over the past year, Mandy has transformed the learning and development department with new initiatives and positivity. She oversees CPE, the Learning Management System, training development, and processes. Mandy continues to make a positive impact with her lesson plans and overall presence in the office.
Mariah Lucero has been promoted to tax senior associate.
Mariah joined the firm at the beginning of 2023 and has eagerly and enthusiastically worked to grow her experience in tax. Whether providing exceptional client service or bringing a smile to the team, Mariah positively impacts the tax department daily. She truly lives out our core values with her strong commitment to excellence.
Tim Shell has been promoted to assurance manager.
Tim began his career as our first assurance staff member hired for the Dallas office in May 2020. Since joining the firm, he has excelled in his career and demonstrated unlimited potential as he progressed from staff to manager. Tim works with privately held companies within the private equity, manufacturing, distribution, and technology industries. He exemplifies the firm’s core values throughout all that he does, whether it’s building a strong culture within the firm or serving his clients exceptionally well.
Yesenia Garcia has been promoted to tax senior associate.
Yesenia joined the firm in the Fall of 2022 and has quickly become a tremendous asset to the San Antonio market and Calvetti Ferguson’s tax department. Her commitment to her clients, teamwork, and positive attitude are some of the qualities that differentiate her. She primarily assists businesses with a complex tax landscape. From flow-through entities in real estate to private equity-backed portfolio entities, Yesenia’s skillsets and technical capabilities bring value to her clients.
