Calvetti Ferguson is proud to sponsor this year’s M2G Ventures Art of the Mind Gala. Taking place this year on November 2, this will be the second year in a row that Calvetti Ferguson has sponsored this event. The Art of the Mind Gala is hosted by M2G Ventures, a women-owned real estate investment and development firm founded in 2014. This year’s event will be hosted at Tannahill’s Tavern and Music Hall in Fort Worth.

M2G Ventures’ fourth annual Art of the Mind Gala is a fundraising event as part of their Mental Health Initiative. The program includes a silent auction, dinner, live art auction, and live entertainment and music. The gala celebrates the fusion of art and purposeful dialogue to foster a deeper understanding of mental illness and health. The event is hosted to further address how our world treats mental illness by supporting the Fort Worth location of the UT Southwestern Center for Depression Research & Clinical Care (CDRC). M2G Ventures aims to raise $1 million for the UT Southwestern CDRC to support doctors and researchers at the CDRC, who are changing the way mental illness is diagnosed and treated, now and in the future.  For 2023, M2G Ventures has announced that they have raised more than $450,000 for the Fort Worth location of the UT Southwestern CDRC.

M2G Ventures collaborates with local artists to create meaningful fine art that aims to shift how we discuss mental health and comprehend mental illness. The Art of the Mind Gala is meant to show that art can convey our thoughts when words fall short. Each local artist has crafted a distinct piece of art that represents their understanding of the mental health experience. The gala will conclude with an evening of conversations, hope, and inspiration. The proceeds from the art auction will support the mission and efforts of UT Southwestern’s Center for Depression Research & Clinical Care. “I’m truly looking forward to attending this year’s Art of the Mind gala,” says Rachel Rhea, tax senior manager at Calvetti Ferguson. “This year’s event is an opportunity to be part of something greater, to connect with fellow advocates, and to support a great cause. It’s a chance to come together with like-minded individuals and make a meaningful impact on an issue that matters.”
