As a firm centered around growth, co-founders Jim Calvetti and Jason Ferguson have nurtured a work environment that prioritizes client satisfaction and encourages a proactive work culture.

With offices in Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, and San Antonio, Calvetti Ferguson has grown to serve clients in Texas and throughout the United States. Initially, the firm focused primarily on Sarbanes–Oxley consulting and quickly added tax and assurance services. The advisory practice began in 2015, with accounting services and technology advisory added to the portfolio in 2020. As we expand, we adapt to deliver on our client commitments. Our team brings a wealth of hands-on business experience, industry-specific knowledge, and the right network of resources to the table. From complex tax issues to new business plans, we go beyond fundamental public accounting services to eliminate hurdles, identify opportunities, and ensure the best for businesses.

Since 2003, our goal has been to add value in all the markets we do business in. Throughout the years, we have received recognition from Forbes, Accounting Today, and Texas business journals, reflecting our progress as a firm and dedication to fostering a collaborative work environment. We are proud to hold titles like ‘America’s Best Tax and Accounting Firm’ and ‘Best Workplace’ for four years in a row because it attests to the time and effort we have put into our purposeful work culture.
The past 20 years have taught us that to grow, we must build each other up and create lasting success for our clients. This not only applies to our clients and employees but also to our communities. The question always on our firm’s mind is: how do we create a lasting impact? Each year our connection teams volunteer with organizations like the Houston Food Bank. More recently, our firm has focused on helping youth in underserved areas by providing career development and skills training through programs like Genesys Works. More specifically, we provide internship opportunities, mock interviews, networking courses, and more to help create a career pathway and improve the trajectory for these students.
This anniversary is just the beginning of what is to come for our firm. We are extremely grateful to all our employees who have helped with its development and those who continue to add to the culture as a whole. It will be exciting to see what the next 20 years hold.
