Jamie Chronister is the Dallas advisory managing director at Calvetti Ferguson. He brings over 25 years of experience providing assurance, turnaround, bankruptcy and restructuring, and financial advisory support to clients across many industries, including energy, manufacturing, healthcare, entertainment, industrial services, and more.
Jamie began his career working for one of the Big Four. Since then, he has served as a chief restructuring officer, chief financial officer, vice president of operations, controller, financial advisor, plan administrator, and managing director across many companies. Jamie has been involved in over 20 complex bankruptcy cases during his career, representing debtors, secured lenders, official committees of unsecured creditors, and official committees of equity security holders. Jamie has also testified on various bankruptcy matters. Jamie earned the 2023 TMA Small Company Turnaround/Transaction of the Year award.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas Tech University and certifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF), and a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA).
Jamie participates in various professional organizations, serving as a Board Member for the Dallas Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA), a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI), a member of the Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors (AIRA), a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and a member of the Texas Society of CPAs.
