What do you like about working in tax?

“My favorite part about working in tax is its ever-changing nature. There will always be new regulations or different tax savings opportunities that I am able to inform clients about that ultimately help add value to their organizations. It is also really rewarding whenever we can help our construction and real estate clients take advantage of tax incentives given the nature of those industries.”

What motivates you?

“I am truly motivated by the people around me. I work hard every day to support my team and not let anyone down. Similarly, I work hard to maintain a good balance between work and my family. Family is such a big piece of who I am, and their support helps me be my best in everything I do.”

What do you like most about the culture at Calvetti Ferguson?

“I really enjoy the camaraderie of the firm and just getting everyone in large groups, small groups, or whatever it may be. I think what separates us from most of the other accounting firms out there is we have that collaborative culture. We make time to have fun with field days and connection teams while also maintaining high performance and integrity.”

What is your definition of success?

“I believe we succeed if my team is achieving their goals and ultimately helping the firm achieve its goals. If I can contribute to the development of my team and its members individually, then I will be doing my job as a leader.”
