Gilbert earned his Bachelor of Mass Communication in Public Relations from Sam Houston State University. He serves on the board of the Alliance of M&A Advisors as an Executive Committee Member and Young Professional Chair and is also the Young Professionals Co-Chair for ACG Houston. Beyond his professional work, Gilbert volunteers with Friday Harbour, supporting caregivers of patients receiving treatment at major Houston medical centers.
