This position is based in Houston. The Talent Acquisition Specialist partners in our full-cycle recruiting effort. Talent Acquisition responsibilities include sourcing candidates through various channels, planning interview and selection procedures, and hosting or participating in recruiting events. To be successful in this role, you should be able to develop long-term recruiting strategies and nurture trusting relationships with potential hires. This role also facilitates the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders. This role reports to the Talent Acquisition Manager and will focus mainly on recruiting experienced accountants at various career levels.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in recruiting/sourcing for public accounting preferred
  • High School diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, social media, resume databases, LinkedIn and professional networks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
  • Candidate should also be flexible with schedule and availability
  • Travel less than 10%
