Houston/Woodlands Audit Senior Manager

The Audit Senior Manager is a professional position responsible for the overall audit process for clients. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from four-year college or university; eight plus years of financial statement audit experience at a public accounting firm; and a desire to develop younger professionals. CPA license is required. The nature of this position requires direct contact with company employees at all levels as well as contact with clients, representatives, vendors, and other business-related representatives. Experience working with privately-held clients is a plus. Industry experience in energy, hospitality, manufacturing, real estate, and construction is strongly desired. Our Senior Tax Manager is responsible for the implementation of tax planning ideas, overseeing client tax compliance projects, provides thought leadership to the partner group while actively developing and mentoring other members of the Tax practice. Develops and maintains strong client relationships, coordinates with Partners, Managers, and staff. Candidates must have a minimum of 9 years total experience, including a minimum of 5 years’ experience reviewing federal and state tax returns for partnerships, corporations, and individuals. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and an active CPA license. Understand and manage firm risk on tax services performed. Experience in advanced technical and tax consulting skills in the areas of: partnership formation and operations. Experience with private equity funds and their portfolio companies is preferred. Corporate income tax provision experience, and individual taxation will be a plus. Senior Managers are expected to assist in identifying and delivering high value tax planning ideas for clients. San Antonio Tax Associate / Senior Associate

Based in San Antonio, candidates should have at least 1 – 3 years of experience and be CPA eligible. The Tax Associate or Senior Tax Associate is a staff position responsible for working with individuals and business in various industries. Personnel in this role will prepare federal and multi-state income tax returns for business entities, including C-corporations, S-corporations, LLCs, and partnerships, as well as complex federal and state individual income tax returns, and returns for gift taxes, estate taxes, and trusts. Tax Administrative Assistant

This role is based in the Houston office with negotiable days in The Woodlands office as well. The Tax Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing accurate and timely accounting and tax processing support to the department. Candidate needs to be able to maintaining a due date tracking system and adhere to department policies and best practices to balance the workload and meet aggressive timelines. This candidate is responsible for processing tax returns, extensions and other client documents. In addition to Tax Department responsibilities this role also works as a part of the administrative team by providing daily receptionist support, as well as, perform other administrative duties depending on office needs as defined by the partners and/or supervisor. This candidate should be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel. Outlook, and PowerPoint at an intermediate level. High School diploma, Associates and/or Bachelor’s degree preferred and 3+ years of administrative support in a professional services environment.
